Caroline is a contemporary British artist, born in Scotland, who has lived in London since 1988.
Caroline’s interest in painting was sparked in 1998 when she took a course in Western art, which she completed in the evenings while working. This in turn led her to take up evening painting classes at South Thames College.
In 2000, Caroline was accepted by the Royal Academy for inclusion in the Summer Exhibition.
Later that year she won the Chelsea Arts Society painting prize.
In 2001 she was taken on by Portland Gallery and had her first solo show there in 2002.
